Split-stitch or backstitch around
the outline of the shape. Fill the shape with
small straight stitches, scattered randomly,
making sure they run opposite to the direction
the satin stitches will go.
Beginning at the widest section of the shape, cover half of the shape (including the outline) with satin stitches, repeat for the remaining half. |
