Work evenly spaced straight stitches over the area of the desired shape. Bring the needle through the fabric at A. Keep the thread below the needle. Then insert the needle under the first laid straight stitch, working from right to left taking care not to pierce the fabric. Gently pull the thread. Repeat the last two steps over the remaining laid threads. To start a new row, take the needle through to the wrong side of the fabric and weave under the back of the work, returning to point A.
