2. Long Stem Shading. Stitches approx 3 to 8mm long with two (2) strands of thread. Work rows close together with stitches in random brick formation. Adjust stitches to suit the shape. The resulting surface resembles Long and Short Stitch. 3. For subtle, extra shading work Straight Stitchs on top of area already stitched. Use 1 strand of another colour. |
